Take in the ocean air among the piers and marinas of Qingdao, said to be one of the cleanest, most beautiful cities in China. From 1897 to 1914, Qingdao was a German protectorate. During this time, buildings were constructed that were reminiscent of those found in cities like Berlin. Old German Town, the original settlement of Germans in Qingdao, is home to the hillside St. Michael’s Cathedral, built in German Romanesque style of architecture. On Small Qingdao Island, within Ba Da Guan scenic area, stands a beacon built in 1900 by the Germans for navigation purposes.

Qingdao features world-renowned Tsingtao Brewery, China’s 2nd-largest brewery. Visitors enjoy the city’s prominent beer culture, especially the venues on the street named after this refreshing liquid — Qingdao Beer Street is lined with bars and beer shops as well as the Qingdao Beer Museum. The city plays host to the Oktoberfest-style Qingdao International Beer Festival.

On top of other exciting excursions, Platinum Members will be treated to an exclusive, per-person tour of Beijiushui River Laoshan on Day 3. The area’s impressive natural beauty of waterfalls and cliffs makes it a popular tourist destination.

The rest of the morning at your leisure until checkout and your flight.

Name Change Policy: If you change any name(s) on your booking 30 days or more before the start date of your trip, you’ll be charged a fee of US$50 per name change. Name changes are not permitted within 30 days of the start date of your trip.
